Hey everyone!
My name is Josh and I live in Park West in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I'm and Art Director/Graphic Designer for a web design firm in Downtown Charleston called Blue Ion.
For the past 5 years I was on a sports car kick and bought a 2001 Honda S2000. As fun as it was, I got tired of driving a small car so decided to get rid of it.
Since land cruiser blood has run through my family, I have always wanted a FJ40 or FZJ80. My father bought a 1972 FJ brand new back in the day then ended up selling it to my uncle. It has since been restored and he wont sell it to me although I think it just sits in his man cave.
So now I have decided to either buy a new FJ Cruiser when they come out or a fully locked FZJ80. However when I sold my S2000 a few weeks ago I couldnt find a LC locked so I temporarily bought a 96 Range Rover 4.0. As soon as I find a TLC I'll unload the Range Rover and get into a real truck.
Till then, you guy will just have to accept that I'm a Land Cruiser lover driving a 4 wheel drive minivan.

Unfortunately I have a wedding in Virginia on the 11th, I would have loved to make it out just to hang out and help with what I could. If there are any local Charleston meets or events, let me know, I'm always down for meeting up. Glad to see there is an active Charleston TLC group as there was for the S2000. Thanks Brock. Where do I need to go to get signed up?

We usually have them in Charleston...but try to spread them out during year...with a HAMOM at Docs or at Glenns......and a meeting or two in Myrtle for our members that are closer to that area than Charleston. We also have membes in Beaufort but not had meeting there yet.
PM me your full name so I can watch for you on the PAID MEMBERSHIP roster and then DBENKE or I can make sure you get a sticker and some business cards. And if by chance you wear a XL or XXL shirt we have some club shirts you are free to buy for yourself, friends, girlfriends, wives, and strippers.

I'm going to get the 5 dudes signed up that live 2 miles from me so we can meet in Florence........The beach is almost as long a drive as Charleston.....Even longer in the summer with traffic.......Although the crowd in Charleston is always worth driving to see......Thats all the rant I have for this month......LOL
edit: Josh, tell your uncle i hate him.....otherwise welcome!

You'll be just fine with the current selection.....I should probably qualify my comments and let everyone know I didnt order and got a pick from what was left over.....Not a good move when you probably need a size S after it shrinks.....LOL

Costco @ Myt Bch
I talked to an 80 owner that works there not too long ago, some "carded" him. Anyone run into him again? His is lifted and has a safari rack.

welcome Mylene.....and Thomas. Glad to see you made it here. Most of the members here are harmless...ignore the comments about FJCruisers being gurrls rigs.....oh wait, that wont bother you. Never mind.
