40 for sale in Ladson/ Anyone need fuel tank?

Hiyas- been a while, but have been busy! Saw rough looking red 40 on hgwy 78 between Summerville and Fair grounds for sale (2800.00 on windsheild). Appears pre 74( is that when wiper motor was moved outside?) Heavily cut up-front fenders and sides of bed. No doors or top seen. I didnt have time to stop- maybe Friday. Sorry if I just trashed a members rig for sale, but she had no curb appeal. might be a sweetheart mechanicaly,I dont know.
Item 2- have tank from 79 40 free to any member- known rust issues,but baffle is in place. I have read about relining,but opted for new tank.Old tank appears structurally sound. New tank has no drain plug. Sandblasted and painted old straps and guard,painted tank also. The entire assembly was so pretty, I hated to bolt it back under truck. It almost fixed my carb issue.
Will idle nice at curb, but still stalls when stopping. Cya round!
