As an official Chapter of UC, would you guys like dedicated website space for LowCountry news, up coming events or anything else? Let me know!

I think it would be nice to be able to post local events and pics....accessible by UC of course but more specific to our band of lost boys down here in the marshes of the lowcountry. LOL

yeah, what I am thinking is adding lowcountry upcoming events to the homepage, and maybe letting you guys have your own page on the website. The idea is not to separate you from the UC, but give you a place to post your own news and event info.

LOL I grew up on small farm on Wadmalaw Island.....pluff mud, marsh, oak flats and fields with lots of trees...now getting too many millionaire retirees....so I moved to summerville...could not afford taxes of the place and my dad sold his farm since he was too old to take care of it.

marshes, swamps, dirtywater ditches.....all same. LOL

Water Falls, Oak Trees, and mountains, Where I grew up(East Tenn). These lowlands are a beauty to me. One Man's Junk is anothers treasure. Here is to all the varity of places so close to us in the Lowland. If I need a fix of mountains the upstate gives me my fix. Hope to see some of you soon. New member in waiting.

That is the truth...grew up on tidal marshes and beaches around Charleston...but my idea of relaxing is camping, hunting, or exploring the mountains. Buddies of mine from out west or in West Virginia cant wait to get to the beach every year. Go figure...LOL

Sure. All I need is an elected officer to help with content by sending me updates, photos, and upcoming event info atleast once a month.

The UC site is free since we are already paying for it and provides a lot of traffic. If you want to have another website your more than welcome but I cannot ask Gehn to maintain two different locations.

JUst let me know what you want me to do.

I was not going to ask anyone else to maintain the other page...it was a way for us to get information out since we dont yet have anything on the site you offered.....that was all. I am not much for waiting so went ahead and made up business cards...locked in domain name...and started doing some things.
