You should have it by now....Hmmm.

Let me know as soon as it shows up. It was sent in a large yellow envelope at the end of last week.

Registration page is now up.

Upstate Cruisers

How are we doing on charters?

I've gone ahead and reserved the site for Thursday also to make it a little longer. Anyone coming in Thursday will be on their own as far as food. I'll be using this day to set the camp up.

No but you want the quantity in the shopping cart to be 4.

You can definitely tell that it is opening shrimp season. Coming home thru Mc'ville every other car had a boat with shrimp poles behind it.

Are they any problems with gas availability in the beaufort/ huntin island area? We are out up here- people are following tanker trucks around town like the pied piper and cleaning every station out within an hour of getting a shipment.

prep has begun

Well we hauled all of the camping gear out of Yodel and inspected for
readiness. So far so good.
Added a new grill, the Road Trip by Coleman, and a new canopy.
It's a Gamecock tailgating job. Garnet in color so it should be easy for
me to find when I stagger back from the parties.
Lynn , Scout and I are really looking forward to this trip.

Getting things ready as well. I am taking the camper and the in-laws down sun. I will be coming back thur. night.

Got my crab pots and hand lines ready, just need to stop by Shem Creek and buy some fish heads. I had to order some replacement parts for my smoker, and got the list made out for the grocery store. Can't wait, looks like we are going to have some nice cool weather.

Gundy, do you know if our RV sites have fire rings to build campfires. If so I need to get a little firewood.

Jeremy

I don't know for certain but I can't imagne they wouldn't. I'm bringing some seasoned
firewood from home with me. On that note I built the first fire of the season in the
fireplace here in Pumpkintown last night. I'm thinking the Mountain Hooger Cabin
gets it's first fire in decades this weekend.

I am pretty sure the sites have fire rings- firewood is going to be essential. Good call.

Of course you'll give the chimney a good sweep first . . . right?
I knew you would.
