My wife is working on the shirt design today.

As for the camping...We have a map from when we were there last month, and are trying to find the group site we will be staying in. Is it close to where Jeremy will be? (Spot 20) There are 2 tent sites on the map..a pink one (Trailside sites T-201-T210) which is away from the ocean, and a blue area (Standard sites) near the ocean.

I guess we will be staying in our own site anyway. The 4YO and the dog, combined with my wife's demand for a shower are becoming a factor.

Just called the park, and the group campsite is in a different area of the park than the campground. It is near a lagoon or something.

Just reserved Site # 132...Right behind you, Jeremy!

We have site #73 reserved. It says it is near the water. We are counting the days to this trip.

Man, I wish I could have gotten that one. I needed an ADA sight for my mother-in law, but they were gone. That directly across from the ADA sights. The closest sight for my trailer was #20, which I think is down the road. I think you got a prime oceanfront sight. Must have booked it right away when they announced the dates. Lucky.

Greg, I am not sure how close you are to me because I can't find an overall map with all the site #'s. The website only has it in sections. Does anyone have a link to an overall map showing the proximity of our sites to the group site? I remember Marshall had something like that posted before on the first post, but it has been changed now.

Jeremy

It looks like Greg, Gundy, and myself are staying very close to each other. Looking forward this event more and more.

I am going to bring down a really nice towable smoker/grill. It is charcoal so it is a low cost way to slow cook things all day. Let me know of any ideas that you guys have for cooking on it. I think if we buy a bunch of chicken quarters, we can use them for bait for the crap pots, and drag lines and smoke/bbq the rest. That way people that don't eat seafood will have an alternative.

Did I see that someone is bringing a sane net? I have heard that you can get enough fish, shrimp, and crabs to feed an army down there that way. If knowone is bringing one, let me know. I might can locate one.

Jeremy

As soon as this was announced we were on it. If you change your reservations to different loops it gives you a map of that section.

I know, but it just shows that loop. Was wondering about an overall site layout with numbers.

Yes the group camp is over by the lagoon. Gonna be a lot less crowded there and the fact we have two sites means we will have lots of room. It is a little walk to get there but I think it will be worth it. Trying to make this as economical for everyone as we can.

I don't have a link to any site, but I have an actual map of the place.
Jeremy...Looks like you are right across the road from me.
Gundy..What site are you?
Smky...you have a great spot! Oceanfronf right across the street from the RR/Showers! Kind of far from us, but since it is ocean front, we will be crashing there!

I am bringing at least 1 seine net. Possibly 2 or 3.
I may also bring my surf kayaks.

Who is bringing kids and what ages?
I am bringing my 4YO girl.

The group site is nice. Just a little walk from the parking lot, and on the other side of the parking lot is the bath house. When we were there last, high tide was at the edge of the bath house. It is a little ways from the dock and the light house, but not a far drive to either one.

We are on site #58 if I remember correctly.
Ranger picked it out for us.
I think the beach is over the dunes and
the bath house is close by.

58 is close to Jeremy and I. You are closest to the beach, then J, then me.

My wife worked on the shirt last night and has a few good ideas. What words do we need on it. Right now it says "Lowcountry Cruisers" on the top and "Shrimp & Crab Boil 2008" "Hunting Island, SC" along the bottom.

The latest rendition of the picture has a cartoonie FJ40 driving on some dunes with a shrimp driving and a crab riding shotgun. In the background are some palmetto trees and it is outlined by the shape of SC with a star(fish) marking Hunting Is.

I am thinking maybe the standard Upstate Cruisers logo on the front?
How many colors are we limited to? I know screenprinters charge by the color.

Since these are hand drawn, who do we need to send it to to get it to the printers? I can send the original, and they can take it and run from there.

Wow...that sounds like a hoot of a T shirt. I've always thought the SST brake tool would make a
nice emblem , kinda like the Nike swoop, for the front of a T.
I'm in for at least 2 shirts.

Not to be picky, but we are lowcountry LAND cruisers. Also, Ron (Brock) and I had talked about the lowcountry emblem on the front,

I agree...if this is suppose to be the Lowcountry Landcruisers signature annual event then it should have the Lowcountry Emblem on front...

Ok. I can change the "Lowcountry Cruisers" to "Lowcountry Landcruisers"

We will do the back then send it on to the next person. They can put whatever emblem on the front that they want.

Colors...How many?

some other people had ideas for other people to do the shirts.....I will give the contact info if someone is going to handle the shirts. He is not the cheapest around but definitely one of if not the best around when it comes to quality shirts and printing...

I am still working 160 shirts I got for bike run recently.....but feel free to drop my name. This is what you will need ready:

1. color of shirt
2. how many
3. artwork converted and separated and ready for setup on screens (guy here in charleston said he could do that as he does graphic design...if DBENKE knows his contact info).
4. date shirts are needed

I am giving him money from my shirt order this weekend and will let him know someone will be contacting him...

design on rear.....something we can use every year and only change the dates to save on artwork and such. brown or green or red are good colors....need to see colors on design though...but since beach affair I say a tan/beige color possibly. then the Lowcountry Landcruisers on front left chest.

Greg, don't forget Land Cruisers is 2 words. Everyone on here seems to like to put them together. Just look at your apron emblems.

Here is a ROUGH DRAFT of her shirt design. The real one will say "Land Cruisers" and it says "Hunting Island, SC" and has the lighthouse in the background and more colors. There is also more detail in the vehicle.
