| Minitruck P/S Swap Setup All these parts are off my '74 FJ40, have been installed for a little over a year, and all basically in the same condition as purchased.
Minitruck box
-Fairly new Toyota Ragjoint attached
-Proper Land Cruiser pitman arm already attached- (can't use minitruck pitman arm, and removal requires torch and a $100 pitman arm tool)
-Slightly seeps fluid from the input shaft seal
-Little to no slop
-has proper 3/8" return line nipple installed
Box pedestal
-came from Bill Dorry- vendor on 'Mud
-Stronger than the JTOutfitters one
-Includes 8.8 Grade Metric hardware to mount box to pedestal and pedestal to frame
-I will weld up the holes that the box mounts to before shipping, because every cruiser is different and it is likely the holes I drilled would not be right for many other cruisers.
All you need to add is a power steering pump (toyota or Saginaw), an FJ60 High pressure P/S line (works for both saginaw and toyota pumps) and a few feet of 3/8 transmission cooler line.
Sidenote- I will have a Bill Dorry saginaw pump mount for sale soon, just have not pulled it off the block yet.
