Item # 8054018076
Replaced it with a Heavy Duty Nippondenso 150 Amp in my 1995 Land Cruiser not because it was bad, because I wanted a bigger Alternator (which is a lot more $$$ and actually puts out less Amps and Volts at idle than this one). This Alternator had been replaced at some time not too long ago (Previous Owner). Judging from the brushes once I had it out of the truck, probably 4 years ago.
Cleaned it up and replaced the brush pack (Toyota P/N 27370-75060) even though the brushes had plenty of life on them (over 3/4 material left), and the front bearing with a new Timken (Toyota P/N 90099-10192) because I was dragging slightly when I turned it by hand once I had it out of the truck. Also replaced the insulator (Toyota P/N 27387-42021) becuase I barely chiped it removing it. The rear bearing and everything else on the alt was perfect.
