I’m in the process of changing out my running gear http://forum.ih8mud.com/hardcore-corner/51130-hardcore-rotm-project-rascal-july-2005-a.html . This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to do a spring over on their FJ40.

What the kit includes:

SOA Front FJ40 Axle
4.10 Gears
Fine Spline Pinion
Cut & Turn
ARB Air Locker
4340 Inners
Brand New Chromolly Longfields
Includes set of FJ40 Springs
2 Drive Shafts – one worn – one brand new
Misc spare axles/birfields

SOA Rear FJ40 Axle
4.10 Gears
Fine Spline Pinion
ARB Air Locker
Disc Brake conversion (Monte Carlo calipers)
JK Customs – Traction bar
Flipped and drilled FJ40 Springs

Kit price = $3000.00 plus shipping. That is ½ what it would cost to have this project done!

Take it 1 step further:

4 - 15x10 MRW steel wheels w/ Bobby Long Bead Locks and 2.5” backspacing
4 - 38.5 TSL-SX’s - 80% tread
1 – spare – same as above but not a bead lock

I'm in the Dallas / Fort Worth areas of Texas. My understanding is that this can be shipped via Forward Air for around $150 plus the cost of building a shipping crate to the West Coast.

The Spare is a TSL/SX 90% tread - Don't have any pictures of it.
