2F distributor
I have a complete and fully functioning distributor from an 85 FJ60 with 2F, i went 2F-E and no longer need it.
how bout $95 shipped.
As you can tell by the vac advance it is the one on the left in the first pic, and the one on the right in the second pic.

Distributor ???
Does anyone out there know if this distributor will work on my 1971 FJ55 F engine. I had Mark of Marks Off Road rebuild my carb and he added a vacum port for me so that i could go to a vacum advance distributor. I'm just not sure if this 2F (1985 FJ60) distributor will drop in and work? Help? Thanks much!!

linking this for you and others who may be interested.
yes it will drop right in the place of the stock F dizzy.
and to quote Poser
"You will need the engine side cover that is dented for the larger body distributor to fit properly.
You will also need an igniter and coil assembly, as this distributor is electronic and no longer uses points to trigger the spark.
Other than that, it is a direct swap, and a fine upgrade from the points ignition system."

for the dizzy i was just gonna use a flat rate box so we will say 85 local.... or a trade of something i can use...
for those interested in this for a F engine you will also need the coil and ignitor as well as the 2F side cover that is "dented" in further for the bigger dizzy...
I have a friend with a coil from an 85 FJ60 in good working order and the ignitor from his 88 FJ62 also in good working order he will let go for $75 plus shipping, a new ignitor by its self is around 200 bux!! a coil is around $25 so consider it just a bonus to the ignitor. i can sell it all as one and just pay him his share if someone is interested in the conversion and doesnt wanna pay 2 people.
also my spare 2F side cover i will throw in for FREE with the sale of the dizzy if it is needed.
