2f carb from FJ60 - $70 SHIPPED
I just replaced this carb from my 7/85 60 with one rebuilt by JimC. What a difference! I consistently pulled 13+ mpg with this one and it's usable as-is, but it could use a rebuild as the performance difference at full throttle between this and the JimC version is very noticeable. This one would serve as a great core for rebuild.
$70 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.

Have only run most of one tank through it, but I got slightly better mileage than I have ever experienced (15 vs my 'old' 14). The scientist in me wants to add "Warning - sample size of one. Your results may vary .

I hear ya. My old 60, even when it passed emissions, rarely reached 13mpg. My lifted rig, pulling a trailer loaded w/enough weight to feel it during braking, averaged 14.5 on a recent 500m trip. Go figure...
Actually thinking about snagging the carb for my lil sis, who is now the proud owner of my 1st 60- or will be once she pays for it!
