91 FJ80 Land Cruiser Parts

Ok here's the deal...I plan on trading in the FJ80 at the end of the month under the 'Cash for Clunkers' bill that was recently signed by the president. I do not want to trade it in with all of its accessories, however, and so I would like to get rid of some of them first. I posting this to gauge interest and setup buyers come time to trade the 80 in (this will happen in 3 to 4 weeks, but need to get this out there early because I will be on vacation in the middle of July). Here's what I have, followed by pictures:

Custom fab:
- Front Bumper (bolt on) $175 obo
- Rear Bumper with 2" receiver (bolt on) $150 obo
- Sliders (Weld on) will cut off to sell $200 obo
Other:
- Safari Snorkel $250 obo
- 3rd row seats $100
- 35" x 12.50" Big-O Bigfoot X/T (lifetime warranty) on 15" Aluminum wheels $400 obo + any wheels and tires I can throw on to drive to the dealership

Make me a reasonable offer on whatever you want, prices are negotiable. I am located in Folsom, CA

3rd row seats have same fabric as this picture, no tears.

Truck ship? I have never shipped large items before but I would be willing to do it. Might be a little pricey, the front bumper is around 30 pounds and the rear is 20-25. Also, forgot to mention in the ad, the rear bumper is a bolt on but you have to cut the rearmost crossmember off. Before I cut I welded in an extra crossmember a few feet forward of where the bumper sits.

How are your rear hatch struts and hood struts? If they're good, care to swap them? Mine stay up about half the time.

Out of curiousity, what are you looking to get with the C4C gubment credit?
I am also considering participating in the program, but not using my 80. I have an old Mark VII(lincoln) that has been taking up garage space for too long. It's fully tagged and registered so it qualifies. Barely though since the govt data states it gets an est 17 mg total(Ha!).
So the replacement vehicle for me would have to get minimum 21 mpg. If I sold the cruiser out right and added it to the C4C voucher that would make a better down payment but there's not many affordable vehicles out there that I'd be willing to part with the cruiser for.
Saw an ad for an H3 that stated 22 mpg, but my recent rental showed many small flaws in the nearly new H3.

That just leaves Honda CRv territory and it's ilk...yuk.

May just leave the cruiser out of it and use the 4500 towards an econo-box commuter like our dear leader wants us to do.
A Versa or scion or something to act as a parts runner for when I'm working on the cruiser. :-)

Drivers Rear Taillight

I've got one with a crack in it so it won't pass NC inspection. Would you trade?

I'll pay shipping both ways.

Let me know.

My struts are in the same condition as yours.

With the C4C I will be taking drastic turn away from SUV's and into a smaller, more fuel efficient car. I've looked at a few of the small passenger cars from Honda, Toyota, Mazda and VW and have been most impressed by the VW's. In particular I have been looking at the Jetta Diesel, which gets better highway mileage than a Prius. You also get a 1300 tax credit for buying this clean burning diesel.

I hate to see the cruiser go, but I think its time to get nice, warrantied, fuel efficient car.

Hey I'm sorry but I really don't want to start taking off other parts of the vehicle.

I like the Jetta Diesel as well, great engine...not the same cookie cutter brand x everyone else drives.

You'll miss the Land Crusher when the civil unrest starts!

Hi I just sent you a PM. I am in Placerville and own a Land Cruiser shop and have been scouring for a FJ80 to start fabricating parts for and this would be perfect.

Please sell it to me rather than the state!

I have cash in hand, and will have it trailered or drive it away if it runs.

This is a perfect opportunity for our shop!

Please call me at 858-437-7078 (cell best number) or 530-621-2740.

Thanks,
Scott
