FJ40: 2F engine with accessories

This engine was put through an electrical fire that occurred in cabin. It comes with: a charred 2F Engine, the 4-speed transmission (without the gear stick), plus the transfer case.

The transmission and the transfer case are good and has no rust or fire damage. The transmission needs a fluid transfusion and a new gear shifter. The transmission and transfer-case are a plug and play, but the engine needs a little bit of love. You need to get your own stick shifters.

The engine does not turn over, with some work it will, you basically need everything electronic. The starter is burned, the emission control is gone (it never needed it), the hoses are all charred, also a balled up fan.

My asking price for EVERYTHING is $1200 or your best offer. We will have to talk about the shipping of it, I will deliver it anywhere around Pasadena, Bakersfield to Temecula. Thats as far as I am willing to go for FREE. If you want me to go any farther in California it will not. Phone number is (562)244-8086

I have pictures here:

Was all of this rebuilt just prior to the fire or something? Not for nuthin' but the price seems to indicate some value-added something not mentioned in the blurb...

Give us some compression numbers or something. Those kind of powertrains just haven't been fetching that kind of $$ on this board.

It was rebuilt, gained almost 5,000 miles and a wire touched metal and broke out into a fire in the cabin and ate all the cables hoses and electric motors. That is it. I will try to find out the compression on it right now.
