80 series OEM 13 gal aux/sub tank

This is a feeler, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell it. Going to put one of the 45 gal units in for more capacity. $300 obo. Availble for local pickup in OC (SoCal) or for shipping on your dime.

This is a used OEM sub tank. Imported by the PO from Australia where it was a factory option. Installs above the factory spare tire location. It's currently installed and works great.

When I bought my truck, the PO included this subtank in the sale, but hadn't installed it. It had some light rust inside so I had a local radiator shop acid etch the interior to clear the rust and then line it with the epoxy stuff. I searched around and took it directly to the guy that all of the local car retoration shops use. He used the highest quality and most expensive epoxy available. Also, one of the baffles inside was loose so he secured it with a sheet metal screw and then soldered over that point to make sure it wouldn't leak. The epoxy went in afterwards so it's all well-coated. The outside of the tank is ugly and shows some light surface rust, but the inside is perfect. It probably should be sanded and repainted on the outside. I had planned to do it but havn't gotten around to it. The mounting straps are included as well as the pickup tube with a new OEM gasket. Sending unit not included but Cdan stocks them.

This is the tank only. You will need to source the other componants such as dual filler neck, transfer pump, etc.

The value of this tank will determine whether or not I sell it since I need the money to offset the cost of the 45 gal tank.

You need to post a price per rules...

4> PRICES are required...if you are selling it here, POST A PRICE...if you want people to bid on it, post it on EBay and link it here....
