bump one. Is this not a reasonable price? I thought this combo would be gone in two days at this price.

not to highjack, and don't lambast me, but could you please explain what the definiton of "split case" is. Is this a dual T-Case?
bump for someone wanting to learn...

The split transfer case it the strongest Landcruiser t-case ever built; however, its downside is that you have to "split" it to separate it from the transmission. This case came in HJ/BJ/FJ 60's 61's &62's.
There were two versions: one had a 34mm idler and the other had the 38mm idler (38mm stronger). This is a late '86 case so it has the 38mm idler.
This is a steal at $300 I thought. No serious bites yet.

Ditto on the miles and has it ever been rebuilt? Looking for one to rebuild for myself to be just a little stronger.

I do still have it. I have the case promised the case to someone in Cali, I'll let you know if that doesn't go through.
Still have the 4-speed though. I REALLY wanted to sell as a combo so I didn't have to take two hours splitting it...

Do you also have fj60 parts from the 86 fj60 available so I could convert my fj62 to the standard transmission? If so, how much for the transmission, xfer and conversion parts?

6 hours... I also have an old-school 4-speed and t-case ('76 I think), clutch, PP, Bellhousing, etc etc. As you know, thats an easier swap than the FJ60 4-speed cause of the mounting differences.
