Extra cab 45 sheetmetal plus more

I've decided to part out my extra cab 45 project. The main parts for sale are the firewall to door jam stock sheetmetal and the extra cab portion(see pictures) I'm fairly motivated on selling these two parts as my prices reflect.

I'd rather not ship the larger parts but can help setup for mudship if needed. The parts are located in Gilroy, CA... I'm located in Sacramento, CA. I can arrange delivery between the two and in a lot of the surrounding area. I will be attending the Valley Hybrid/FC Fab swap meet and could bring any of these items with me.(smaller items on the list will be coming)

I could also possibly arrange for delivery on my way to Colorado Springs for xmas but that will require a large deposit upfront.

  • The firewall section is from a Feb 75 FJ40. Aside from the large hole in the floor, I'd rate it in very good condition. There are a couple of minor bends against the firewall(valve cover hieight). The rockers were cut 2.5" if I recall right. It includes an S10 steering column with key, pedals, and master cylinder. It will not have the windshield hinges pictured. $300ish
  • The extracab portion is 6 parts: cab portion, floor portion, and two sets of stock FJ40 top rails(see picture). The cab and floor were done in 16 gauge metal. It ends up being about 23" shorter than stock. I chose the length based upon being able to use the hardtop posts and forward holes. The short set of rails are cut to length but I felt the overhang was too short... hence the longer set of rails. $300ish
  • Autometer gauges: mechanical speedo, voltmeter, temp gauge, and oil pressure gauge. broken light for speedo These are the Phantom series(white face, black bezel) I'd rather sell these as a set with a gauge panel for $140 (see picture)
  • 4 core stock radiator with mounting bracket. It has a fitting brazed in for the heater return. I'd like $50.
  • Gas tank cover. Stock from 75 FJ40. $30
  • Rear lift hatch and support. Not sure year on this. See picture. $40
  • Hoops made from 1.75" tubing(I'll check thickness again) 1) 50" wide x 51"tall 2) 59"widex51"tall 3) 59"wide x 66" tall Measured them as best as I could. The height is probably noted shorter. See pictures of them. $50 each or $120 all
  • Air tanks. Black one is 23" long and silver is 21" long. $25 each or $40 both
  • Taurus fan. This is the "beast" of electric fans: the three wire/two speed version. $50
  • Short jump seats. See picture. $70
  • NEW!!! Suburbun gas tank with TBI fuel pump. This is the smaller of the two available for Subs. It has the EFI baffle in it $100
  • SALE PENDINGMetal tech FJ40 fender kit. Does not include the finish kit(see picture) but does include stock aprons (see picture) 1 year old was primered and stored. $120
  • 454 TBI "kit". Just about everything needed to put TBI on any quadrajet equipped engine. Only need oil pressure sensor. Includes 2" TBI, wiring harness for TH400, relay for TH400 kickdown, relay for fuel pump, 454 7747 ECM, ALDL plug, two MAP sensors and brackets(air cleaner mounting or firewall mounting) $300
  • aluminum radiator and mounting system from Custom Cruisers of Gilroy. Unused. Sells for well over $500. Doesn't have cap. Would like $400.
I'll take reasonable offers on any of these items and will definately consider package deals. First with cash in my hands gets them.

PM sent

Added a Ron Diaz(Custom Cruisers of Gilroy) radiator and mounting bracket to the list in the first page.

Modified my gauge description to include the broken speedo light.

lol, posted picture just as you asked.

The gauges are not new. They have about 500 miles on them and about 5-6 years of sitting As noted in the picture post above this, the dash light for the speedo is broken.

If I wasn't doing Haneline gauges in my FJ55, I'd use these

I was going to throw them in with the tub but I'd do $30 plus shipping for all three(passenger side that isn't in that picture)

Fenders sold VERY quick. If they fall through, they will make the swap meet in Stockton.

What diameter or gallon size are the tanks?

I'm interested but they look skinny.

I'm not dead sure on that... go figure, the one measurement I forgot But my rough eyeball guess is the black is around 6" while the silver is 8".

On the silver, the ad for the compressor I bought that came with the tank said 3 gallon.

Let me see what I can do in the next couple days for a diameter(aka, let me see if I can remember where in the parts pile on the sideyard I put it so I can direct someone to measure it ).

They can make the swap meet.

Help me with the pictures on the Bobbed FJ40 turning into an FJ45 Extended Cab. All I can see in the pictures is a front cowl and some floorboard sheet metal and the rockers including the door post. Basically a cut up FJ40 Tub. What am I missing?

Basically, you take this:

and graft it to the door posts. Then you graft one pair of these cut to the appropriate length to the above where you see cut out:

The flat floor shown in the above picture has a 1/2" lip for welding it to the vert sheet metal. The vert sheet metal has a 1/2" lip for welding to the door post
