| What kind of drop mounts used for the 80 series front sway bar? Are they something like 1"x2" square tube, or solid metal?

| Do you know when the birfield length changed? If your 6/94 is the same as the 97, I'll take it. Do you have inner axles? Especially the short side?

| Ben,
they are cloth and manual.
Andy,
I'm not sure if this birf will work in a 97. I can measure the splines. I don't suppose you have a late model one to compare measurements on. I may have a set of inner and outer axles available soon. I have a complete front axle I've been sort of saving that might be on the chopping block soon.

In our little group, the spare shortside front and spare birf, got "consumed" on Dusy Ershim last summer. I would like a full set of axle spares prior to Moab this year.

| Andy,
SOR.com shows the change was in 8/92. I did a search here and came up with nothing definitive. So I'm thinking it would work in a 97. The axles are out of an unlocked axle if that matters. I suppose being able to drive in 3 wheel drive instead of rear wheel drive would be better than nothing on the trail (thinking of those with elockers).

The 93s for sure had a shorter spline section, and a shorter drive flange. Some of the 94s did too.
I don't care about the e-locker stuff, I have ARBs
Got any knuckles?

| The only knuckles I have left are non ABS. Which would get you off the trail, but you'd still be searching for parts when you got home.
I'll PM Cruiser Dan to ask him how to identify the spline section. I do know that they were too long to run Aisin Hubs on without a shim. I'm thinking the early ones you could run the Aisin hubs on without a shim. I know the 91/92 birfs you could run Aisins with no shims.

| OK Ben, I'll put your name on it. I'm not going to be able to ship until Wed. lunch if you need the switch ASAP.
Ah, I might know somebody coming through Sunday. I'll check with him tonight. Just missed a chance with Eric K. going down for the game two weeks ago.
