| FJ60 Parts Colorado I have an FJ-60 that I am going to be doing some customizing to. It's a rust bucket beyond imagination. Anyway, I am keeping some of the parts I'm stripping off for my other 60, and am leaving the engine and running gear in tact, but would like to help out anybody needing various 60 parts. So, let me know what you need and I'll see if I can help you out. I'm talking free, with the exception that you pay for the shipping, unless you are close enough to come pick them up. Merry Christmas!
Herb
PS - Also, I'd like a photo of your truck that I can print out to keep track of all the different cruisers the parts have gone to.
I never turn down New Belgium -(Fat Tire) or Sierra Nevada brews either!

Color was that metallic brown...although according to a paint color site another 'mud member sent me the link to ( http://www.scionlife.com/toyota/#LC), it may have been red 3FE ???
Anyway, now between all the rust and the black and white painted over all the body, all the original color is gone. Except for on the interior as I have been dismantling...the original color was preserved. For example on the inside of the tailgate.

| Off the top of my head I'm thinking...
-Rear hatch lock mechanisim
-A couple of emissions related items (HAC Valve and the pink BVSV)
I'm sure I could come up with more...
If you are willing to part out the front axle I would be interested in the items from the knuckle out.

| cruzrgal,
I have the cup holder. Has some damage but works...it's bolted to the console at this point. You're welcome to it. Shipping? And I would like a photo of your truck that I can print off. Keeping track...for the fun of it...of where all the parts go.

| Jason,
I have the chrome strips off of my other fj60. They're a little beat up, but you are certainly welcome to them. I'm planning on fabricating some sliders, etc. for the truck and they won't be necessary. Transfer case knob can't help you with, sorry. As I have said to others, I'd like a photo of your truck...I thought it'd be a fun way of seeing in the end where all the parts have gone to. Shipping?
Herb

Interesting. I just swapped out the rear hatch lock mech. from the rust bucket 60 to my keeper 60. I couldn't ever get mine to lock. You're welcome to that one to use for parts...I'm betting that's not going to help you though. I kept everything just in case some genius could figure the thing out.
Emissions stuff might be on the slate for January. Supposedly, Larimer County will not require emissions for vehicles beyond a certain year as of 2007, and supposedly my keeper '84 fj60 falls into that category. So, I will keep you in mind if that all pans out.
Front axle is staying. Let me know if you think of anything else. |

Anyway, whatever I was doing to respond to your PM wouldn't allow a photo attachment. Here's the best photo I have right now, but wasn't planning on parting with the headlight frames. Let me know though if you are interested and we will talk.

| Herb,
Not sure what you parting off the donor 60, but I could use front end parts from the knuckles out to the hubs, including TRE's... And the steering box.
Let me know!
Thanks! |
