Hey guys
I was on my way home and a loud noise starting coming from my 1993 Land Cruiser. I uploaded a video hoping someone here would help me identify the problem. I've had the brakes checked and they were fine. The noise is on and off and happens in drive and reverse, When accelerating or braking and turning or driving straight.
Here is the video.

I appreciate any help!

try/check the easy spots first, u-joints, birfield, axle gear oil, etc. Also you could quickly check you wheel bearings for play by grabbing the wheel, when jacked up, at 12 and 6 oclock to check for play or prelead.

I dont mean to scare you but I had something similar last year and it turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. Dirty job...

I don't think it's UJ.
My first thought was brakes. Depending on what someone "checked" on the brakes, assuming they are correct, then I would go straight to wheel bearings. That's a nasty dry squeal. Don't go too far until you get it thoroughly checked out.
Greasing the UJ won't hurt, but typically the noise with those is very rotational related.

Good Luck! Post your final solution!
