water,fuel,and oil pumps for 77 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Need to buy new water, fuel and oil pumps for my rebuild.

Oil pump: Amazon Aisin pump $77. Toyota $265. Anything wrong going with the Aisin?

Water Pump: Aisin $80 but it has an extra port that will need to be plugged. This is currently what I have. It seems the OEM is NLA.

Fuel pump: Cant find anything aftermarket or a rebuild kit. So OEM for $140

I am thinking of going Aisin aftermarket on the Oil and water, OEM on the fuel pump. I am missing something? Thank you.

emac Aisin is OEM - Aisin made these parts for Toyota. Try @beno he sells OEM Toyota parts.

Thanks. That is what I thought. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Beno sends me stuff weekly! I think I will get the fuel pump from him.

emac - I'd try and stick with OEM parts for the oil & fuel pumps. As for the water pump without the oil cooler port, this OEM part is no longer available. On advice from a reputable Land Cruiser doctor, I just replaced mine with the Airtex AW9493, as seen below from RockAuto.

Or you could get the Aisin WPT-063 (on Amazon)

But first question is, what month is your '77? It makes a difference in terms of fuel pump.

I have the one for 10/'77 - 12/'78. The one for earlier build dates will come in toward the end of next week.

For the OEM fuel pump, use the part number 23100-61011. That is the one I installed on my 12/76.
