I'm thinking you will get 5 reverse and 1 forward running the toyota PTO on the Thomas winch.

Ozcruiser I did a bit of playing around after I had a early knockoff,
That would be correct 5 wind out and 1 wind in with the Later single clockwise rotation Toyota ptobox
The earlier split case Toyota ptobox I have is dual rotation clockwise and counterclockwise selected in the pto box itself
So with a Thomas winch I should have 5 wind in and 1 wind out with the pto running counterclockwise plus 5 wind out and 1 wind in with the pto running clockwise

Question anyone know much Thomas winch history?
This one "Ian Thomas winch" cast on it, is it earlier or later than the ones that just have "Thomas winch"

It's at Cooma Toyota apparently. The company logo on the side sub-contracted during the Snowy Mountains scheme.

Thanks cult for putting those pictures of the fixedtop up, she sure is something that one

How's the 72 going you may wonder, I've decided to give the chassis a light blast so I've stripped her down in preparation
