Did someone mention rats?

I had the same problems with the tree rats chewing everything. Gas cans, fj40 fender flairs, trailer connectors, Rhino, atv, and anything else that they felt like chewing. My .22 pellet gun worked well but I finally had an owl make a nest near my house. It is amazing how fast the the rats start to disappear. From 6 to 12 tree rats at any time in my front yard to 0. After months of no tree rats I now see just one every once and a while. Nothing like a hungry owl to deplete the population. I live in a neighborhood so I couldn't take a shot every time I saw one. that was the frustrating part for me.

Put up a fence, I'll send you a couple of Jack Russell Terriers. No more squirrels or rats, or anything that can't fly.
Although there has been a couple of too slow birds, too.
