Had a chance to meet the crew at ACC last week - great folks!

Dropped off my 97 LX450 for some ACC lovin'. Purchased bone stock back in 2008 for daily driver duties. Then, in 2012 it was retired into fun/trail/camping duties and grew up a bit with winch, sliders, KM2s, skidplate, etc. In trying to find a daily driver SUV, I bought a 2004 100 series and promptly sold it after not bonding with it. I simply haven't been able to find another multi-purpose SUV like the 80 that just works for me. So, I recently picked up a 96 LX450 for the new fun/trail/camping SUV and dropped off the original 97 LX450 at ACC. Head rebuild, exhaust, other freshening items, and new tires - and she'll be back as a daily-driver. Ah..

80 series circle of life:
1) Back in 2008
2) Evolution in 2012
3) Going back to stock. Swapping parts with white 96 last week:
4) ...

Exciting times. Thanks ACC. Looking forward to having it back with a new purpose!

Thanks. Excited to be back driving an 80 daily again. The silver one is targeted for some cleaning and buffing - see pics(doh! - if I only planned better). White one coming along - it just received a new (used) fuel tank due to leak:

1) That'll buff out
2) Just a quicky wash needed
3) white 96 getting close
