Found a drop of juice on my garage floor (not common)...looks like gear oil.

Dropplets pooling on the bottom side of the front axle.

Hose connected directly to the axle appears to be purging gear oil?

The line is wet with oil all the way to the top. Is this some type of breather line? Why would it be leaking? Just completed an axle rebuild and suspect I may have put too much 75W-90 in.

Well I expect that this is one of those things that will correct itself.

Yup, good time to remove the hose and breather and run new 1/4" fuel line up into the engine bay. You can bypass that plastic air chamber.

The axle must be way over filled if it is puking dif oil from there.

I put "about" 3 full quarts in (had to open a 4th...long story). It did start to leak out of the fill hole, so I just let it drip until no more came out and tightened the bolt. Couldn't be that full, but weird that it would pressurize and work itself all the way up the line like that.

Is there a question here or are you just bragging that your 80 doesn't normally leak and leave spots on your garage floor? :flipoff2:
