I believe my handles look like the forts one shown. The one above looks like the handle on the rear door of my 40. I do recall there being two different style door pulls throughout the years so maybe they changed the handles as well. I would need to refer back to some of my old pics for sure. Landpimp might have a better memory.

I got one today from a friend in VT. Going to try it on for size tomorrow

I doubt it's gonna fit. I was looking today and the door lever is not a square pattern. Its got 2 flat sides and 2 rounded sides. It is also larger overall than the smaller square like the window cranks. In the picture the window crank is left and door lever right (broken).

Just went in the garage. They don't even come close to fitting. Thinking a trim ring/adapter might be a good solution. Would anyone buy them?

That would have been smart to try, wouldn't it? I'll check tomorrow.

Not even close. A trim ring adapter option would be a good deal I think. Would look nice and solve an unobtainium issue

Love getting my glasshole filled. ..re-used the old gasket which was in great shape. the 40 series gasket didnt fit like it was suggested it would in other threads.

$325 for pulling both the windshield and one piece of side door glass, getting the glass custom cut then re-installed. Seemed like a bargain!

Axles getting swapped with all discs and OME kit. Some weird rust underneath but extremely clean overall.

Emu 2.5" lift is on. Rear discs installed. need to run brake lines. Have an 80 series master with a booster going in. Should stop on a dime.

Looks good. You need to get rid of that boat anchor of a rear bumper now.

Also, why haven't you flipped the bezel yet?

Bumper is in the list. I hate it but probably won't tackle it until next year. The bezel is just me being a passive aggressive a-hole

Looking good! It is amazing how an OME lift and some OEM wheels / nice tires do for a LC! :smokin:

Its a 2.5" heavy. I was told the springs were made for the pickup model and the heavy ones were made for a pickup with 300 extra pounds in it. Since the tailgate weighs about 100 lbs I was guessing the sheet metal for the roof and pillars would add to 300 more than a truck plus weight the rear seat. The heavy ones werent much more and if they dont ride right then I can pull one leaf and make them the light version.

I have new hubcaps to go on as well once its buttoned up for good. Keeping the wheels black paint.

Rear discs on
