No, I don't think he would be talked out of it....

Maybe that guy has an old crusty one laying around he would be willing to sell. :) I don't need museum quality, that should go to someone like Phil. ;)

Oh yeah, you need a parts rig now...I have just the one for you! But it's an earlier FST 25, a 59 or 60 with the funky motor mounts and "high" tool box. Then you'd need to find a parts rig for it...

oh, good god phil, don't tempt him.....

I took a trip up to Glacier a few years back and saw some pretty country along the way. Maybe another Montana trip is in order :)

i just got off the phone with phil ...if you go, you may have to bring back some extra stuff. ;)

The gas tank straps and the gauge parts showed up last week and...

I found a gas cap! Now I need a gas cap for that one :) Phil warned me this would happen.... :steer:

Is there any difference between the high tool box front seats and the low toolbox front seats? Looks like I am in need of some high toolbox front seats...

How cool is this? :)

I started the 1960 FJ25 engine today after soaking the rings in Marvel Mystery Oil. She has been sitting in a field for years!

but did you drop the pan on the pickup yet and find another piston;)

I've got this old parts cluster, early 40, maybe 62 or 63. also have these straps from early 40's

In post #254 in my thread: -► https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/544543-clusters-gauges-odo-meters-13.html
we have found out that up to 1962 the High Beam Indicator had a green lens. From 1964 it changed into a blue lens. What the color was in 1963 is still open, so we can safely say that your cluster is pre 1964 because of the green lens.

Does anyone know a shop that can put these back to stock? The PO appears to have cut, flipped, and welded the rims to make them a deeper offset. It would be a shame to scrap four FJ25 16" rims if I can't get them fixed...

Any luck with that Land Rover fuel tank cap?
