A while back there was a thread a guy posted where he swapped the tubes from side to side to use the stock shafts switched from left to right so he had the same overall width, but had the cruiser offset pinion. He also reworked dually hubs to run 6-lug wheels.
I have searched here, google and pirate without being able to ressurect the thread.
Can anyone help me out? I have my dually hubs to the point of having two opposite stud holes filled for redrilling, but need to see what machining the backside looks like.
I'm using a 15" narrowed and shaved delivery van axle with both shafts narrowed-or I will be... The housing is just waiting to have the tubes rewelded and the hubs finished for mocking up the axle shafts for length. I used a thicker bottom shave plate to allow cover holes to be drilled in too.
