Recommend a remote start (1 Viewer)

I've been wanting one since my recent trip to N Dakota. Pretty much all vehicles there had one and it was a great addition. Looked on Amazon and Viper offers some at a very reasonable price. (+-$70!).
Any one out there with one? I'm not interested in an alarm or rolling windows down etc just a module that will start the car.

Autopage. Had one on my 80, loved it, fantastic range and safety features. Will install one on the 100 eventually.

I've had a viper for years with no problems. I'd highly recommend one, for cold climates (or even really hot ones, where you want AC before you get in). Definitely have the wires soldered NOT CRIMPED! That way they won't come undone.

Just know that by installing remote start you are by definition disabling the immobilizer/anti-theft protection on your truck. Which you may or may not care about.

That's the reason I haven't gone this route yet. Likely, when this truck can be garaged is when I'd consider this more seriously. I'm interested to see which route the OP goes.
