What is this sensor on my 2H? (1 Viewer)

That temp sensor is part of the glow system relay, when the engine is at temperature it stops the glow process from coming on. No need to glow a warm engine.
I think that's right ...
And that part number appears to have been substituted by 89422-12010

it is active. I cannot speak to the 2H part.

No problem. I'll do a little more research on whether or not it works on the 2H. Thanks for your help.
Isn't there an o-ring used to seal that sensor? Is that where your leaking from, if so you need only replace the o-ring.

I need to look at it closer, but I think it is leaking somewhere towards the top where it is plastic. Great point though. I'll double check.

Just as a follow up...I pulled the old one today and the leak occurred where the plastic meets the brass. The part number stamped on this one is indeed 89422-12010.
