i was aroud sixteen when my dad traded hes 4runner for the 45 it came with a parts rig a 1964 fj40 the 45 has been sitting in the junk yard at cruiser only for around 10 years next to a fj45 long bed the the original color was a tan the bed had tree growing out of it and the inside floor was coverd in layer and layer of rugs and tnen spray on foem under the rugs the fuel tank had more spray on foem under it which turned into glue it took pry bar to get lose the tank got to damaged to use there is no engine in it lots of hidden rust

that very rare and sought after factory kleenex dispenser looks recently used, guess i would be crying too at the sight of a swb45 with tree growing in the bed :(
 
There have been trucks in worse condition brought back to life for sure. Good to see another one rescued. It actually appears to have quite a lot of the original bits, so at least you will won't need be chasing as many odds and ends.
 
the fj45 belong to a toyota dealership before it was sell to an old lady it came with the after market heater and is missing most of the switches on the dash and the marrors are not original

colors going to by tan, modified 4inch lift tall skiny tires mite do a flat bed dont have a engine
 
awesome, well sort of. I don't really like the look of the floor, but its good to see another being saved. well done mate.
 
Great score ! Save/ preserve those rear window seals. As they are no longer made. Looking forward to the build.
 
Dude, that has the coolest patina I have seen in a long time. Clay bar it, clear coat it, stuff a diesel in it and drive it!
