I remember almost buying this rig out here in cali, it sure went to a good home, nice work!

X 3 on the more pics, and X 10 on the nice rig and great attention to detail!

Thanks, guys.

Still plugging away at it. Have most of the little parts painted but still don't have the body on yet. Was hoping to have it done by now but life gets in the way.

I've been working on the 25, too. Put new tires and modified a set of early chevy truck wheels to fit. Also accidentally found a local chrome shop while driving around and had the grilles and few other things rechromed. I want to just get it road worthy and be able to drive it around like it is for a few years while I finish up other projects.

Anybody know what color the Jack rods and clips were painted on the early trucks?

I need to verify the clips, rods, and engine crank. I believe the clips were body color. The jack and bottle jack crank were yellow. There isn't a lick of any color paint left on the rod that is pictured below.

There is an engine crank in the 59 and clips in the 59, and both 60s. I'll scratch them down tomorrow and report back...

RK30-91100 - crank is marked STO

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics and all the dust! I'll take some photos with the good camera and clean things up for next time.

I can finally see the finish line with this thing. Still need a few more parts for this and the FJ25 if anybody can help:

-Early FD knob
-Early Hand throttle cable
-Early Choke cable
-FJ25 Vacuum wipers
-Early (smooth top) air cleaner housing
-Early (square style) license plate brackets
-FJ25 Rear license plate light lens
-FJ25 Wheels (this one has a set, but they were butchered in an attempt to widen them)
-Early Gas filler cap
-Generator
-1958-1962 Front bumper (I recently found one, but it's mangled)
-1961-1963 Tail light brackets
-PTO U-joint
-PTO hinged trap door

Was anybody able to confirm the original color of the jack rods and clips? Also, anybody have a pic of the factory heater control knob on the dash? I'm pretty sure it mounted with a bracket to the bottom of the dash.

Very cool pics! I really love the detailing. Is this the stock shifting lever knob? Ours has an other shape. (pic attached, but the knob is partly hidden behind the steering wheel).

Was there a factory heater in a 62? I thought I understood all heaters were a dealer option. I have an aftermarket knob in a drilled hole in the dash.

Post up a pic of the heater you have and I'll get the pic of the switch

This is the heater on the 1960 FJ25. I don't know if the heater switch is stock or not

Green paint on the green 1959 FJ25 (ignore the red... the green 25 was painted red)

It's the OEM part you get when you order the original part number. It's an "updated" part that was used on many different models over the years.
