Coil packs - anyone tried these? (1 Viewer)

Typically, I prefer to use Toyota or OEM (Denso, Aisin, etc.) parts, but occasionally, other parts seem worthy of consideration.

For instance, the last Denso coil pack I purchased for my 100 was +/- $70 (shipped) so when I ran across these the other day, they got my attention: All 8 coil packs for $114.40 (free shipping) with a 10 year warranty! http://www.am-autoparts.com/2000/Toyota/LandCruiser/IgnitionCoil/AM-84207498/373982.html

Granted, that almost seems too good to be true, so I wanted to see if anyone here had any experience with these. Heck, even without a 10 year warranty, at $14.30 each, you could keep several on hand.....just in case.

my buddy bought something similar the news ones went bad in a few months. denso ones last a lot longer

Denso 673-1303 Ignition Coil $63.20

Be done with it for half the price of the same part in a Denso package vs. a Toyota package.

Or be done with a made in Japan FLAMMA IGC 107F for half the price of the Denso. Has been good to me for the past 93k miles
