Here is the current setup, you can see the fork block on the piece of wood in the second picture. This is definitely simple but fails when you need to take multiple bikes or you need to carry people/stuff AND bike... its definitely a cheap alternative

ill get a better picture later, i moved the back bar back further so the angle isnt so extreme.
couldnt do bikes in the back anymore.....
