GX460 Key Questions (1 Viewer)

On a 2011 GX460, it has a push button start and electronic key, and I have a few questions. No owner's manual available right now.

1. How does one operate the windows, blower etc without turning the engine on?

2. Does the electronic key still allow the engine to start if the button battery in the transponder dies?

3. What is the range the the transponder has to be from push button in order for car to start?

4. What happens if car is running and someone walks away with the transponder? Will car stay running or shut off? If it stays running, I presume it will not be able to drive? Does the lock/unlock button on transponder work if you want to leave car heat/a/c running but lock doors etc?

The key must be in the vehicle for it to start. To just turn on and not crank the motor just don't place your foot on the brake and push the start button (maybe twice). If the vehicle is running and you remove the key from inside the vehicle it beeps at you but is still operational. It will not allow you to lock the doors with the key if it is running. The best way to have the vehicle running and be away from it is to turn off and use the remote start feature if the vehicle is equipped. (Push lock button 3 times holding down for 5 seconds on the third one)
