Yes 3" shackles. ... really want to drive to see how she does. ... With new shocks also....but need to.fix exhaust leak on manifold also....and finish the interior also...

YOu might need some shims on the front axle if you don't already. I put 2" shackles on mine all around with stock springs and the front end wanted to wander all over the place. Some 4 degree shims cured it.

Where you able to find some 2.75 wide or did you use 2.5?

I do believe they were as wide as the spring.

Well reinstalled the heater and the hoses and floor heater... and picked up the heat riser gasket today from dealer ship...should take care of exhaust leak...then just some fine tuning. ...cleaning up the motor are....found out today that the motor was fresh rebuild from the PO and only has about 25000 miles on it....

Carpet day..put some padding underneath my old carpet after putting the lining on the floor. ..
Just waiting on rear hump covers and then to install all door pannels then on to the weather stripping wipper on doors. Also have to put dash cap on. The heat riser gasket. .maybe I can drive it by December. ..

Dash cap cut and put on.....72-80 cap on a 71...i just cut the cap instead of the dash..

Where did you get the carpet from? I saw some for sale on Ebay out of Australia. Did you get yours there or find it locally?

No it was in the pig when I got it....i did pressure wash it....
I can contact the PO and see where he got it from...

I have a lot of work to do on my windows as well...where'd you get your weatherstripping? I have to get the whole slo cruiser kit or piece it all together from different vendors

I ordered window felt and window wiper felt. And In channel weatherstripping and build seal can side from rock auto...
I order formed Door stripping from solo. After dealing with solo and the quality I would just order everything from solo... i wish I had...
