6 speed gearbox (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
Not sure if anyone on here knows much about the Isuzu motors but looking for a 6 speed to suit a 4jb1-t. Preferably part time with the transfer case on the correct side to suit a j90 prado.
Even if someone can recommend a good 6 speed I can look into compatibility, at this stage the only one I can think of is out of a hilux/prado but pretty sure they are all full time 4x4.

I'm not sure there is one. The Isuzu Dmax utes with the 4JJ1 (same block) is only 5 speed and that's the most up to date application. You could adapt a 6 speed from most other engines. But I'll be the adaption is the bit you want to avoid.

Since Holden is updating the Colorado ute, there will likely be a matching update to the Isuzu Dmax ute and maybe with a 6sp manual. Hopefully.

Colorado is still a 5sp manual I think. I sat In a new one a couple of weeks ago and I don't like it to car like now go the d max

Maybe a thought could be checking if you can get a part time kit for the prado/hilux transfer.......

I'm thinking the same. That would be your best bet as a first inquiry
