Installed OME's 2.5" lift kit over the weekend and I'm wondering what I should do with the old springs. Toss them, sell them, or give them away?

I gave mine to a guy that was going SOA. I hope it gave me some good Cruiser karma.
I would be happy to assist someone gaining good cruiser karma so I could start my SPOA project but I'm on the wrong coast

That is the key point. Best bet is finding someone local. Shipping kills the deal. Try selling them here and on Craigslist. If you are just going for karma (giving then away) some hoarder will see them on CL and take them off your hands.

I have a set of stock springs from a 1977 BJ40 that had 37,000 miles on it when I changed to OME. Since they're like near-new and include bushings and shackles I kinda' have always thought that SOMEBODY doing a fully stock restoration might come along.

Might be a long trek for you....it is in SC. I missed it this year, but i am hoping for another chance to eat, drink, and talk FJ40's with some MUDDERS.
The spring steel make good knives. Might want to find someone into blacksmithing.
