I picked up a 1983? Murray Baja 26" cruiser today to pedal around with my kids. We raced a bunch of BMX as kids, I still have my JMC mini race bike. My dad would race in the cruiser division on a badass DG, which he would not let me borrow. So I hunted CL and found this, not a bad bike to cruise around on.

Nice Baja! They made them with gears as a early mountain bike Pre mountain bikes really. Thanks for sharing!

Nice classic.

I just built new race wheels today for my Cruiser. I race with my 7yr old. The old man class here in Durango is pretty competitive.

Raced as a kid with my brothers and dad. Looks like the tracks around here get 3-5 racers in the 41-45 class. Good memories from the aba and nbl.
