LN106 Not reaching temperature (1 Viewer)

I have an ln106 Hilux and I'm not reaching operating temperature nor is my heater working.

I pulled the thermostat and boiled it to check and it's working fine from what I can see. I flushed the heater core yesterday but haven't gone to town on the cooling system yet. The car is new to me.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Get a new thermostat. The PO could've put in a lower temp thermostat then is recommended.

Have you checked the temperature stamped on the thermostat? It should be 82 Celsius.

I have a warm engine and heater!

The previous owner had put in a cheap one.

It is now all genuine.
