Looks good! Wondering where you guys all find the cojones to cut into your fenders? I'm way too scared to cut my baby like that!

Thanks! I was drilling the fender when my GF pulled into the garage. She just looked at me, and immediately shook her head in disappointment. It was glorious :)

Ran Sevenmile Rim this weekend with my kids and a friend in his Taco. Sevenmile is a pretty mild trail, but there are enough options to "take the stupid line" on some of the obstacles, and few more challenging optional obstacles, that I finally got to try out the rear ARB Locker and give the Icons and Slinky's a proper workout. Did a quick run down and up Wipeout Hill too.

BIOR sliders, front bumper, engo winch, pro link, ko2's and tb lift in front to level it a little. Still a couple of odd and end things to do but very happy with the outcome so far. Better pics to come, indoor pics don't do it justice!

Bump it does such great work! So tempted to sell my BIO bumper I have now for this one. Nothing wrong with mine, but man Mike is just awesome.

Got my BIOR Rear bumper back from powdercoat and bolted up this past week.

First off, I'm really impressed with Mike: He was great to work with, super responsive to all of my (many) questions (emails, calls, txt) and custom requests for my build. The finished product is impressive; very clean welding, featured high quality materials, and overall good design. No doubt a bulletproof & functional add-on to my truck. Tire swing out on the DS and a Can Carrier on the PS.

Thanks to my buddy Luke for an extra set of hands to help lift it in place and steady it while I got the bolts in. Effectively this is a 2 man job to set the bumper.

One of the things I wanted to have in the bumper were rear facing work/back up lights switched from inside the truck. These needed to be minimalistic, functional, durable and of course look cool. I have had good experience with BajaDesigns LED's over the years, and while they are not cheap, they are truly waterproof and can withstand constant vibrations and hits that come with offroad abuse-guaranteed.

There isn't much room on the backside to cleanly add lights in this bumper, so I selected the BajaDesigns S2Pros which are waterproof, high output (2150 lumens ea), flush mounted, low profile which require very little space on the back side. These are rated at 20watts and 1.66amps ea. You can configure the lenses just about any light spread you like in clear, yellow or even red: I had them built with Wide Cornering lenses which spread the light wide and back 100ft. Since one of my goals was to have working light off the backside of the truck, the lights needed to be dimmable for camp use. I added a cool little product made by Jerry Skene (Skene Designs) LED "smart lamp"dimmer module that allows you to program the lights to preset brightness using a momentary, single or 2 pole switch, or if on the front triggered with your hi-beams.

I spent the afternoon wiring them up; and into the fuse terminal inside the DS lower foot well. I ran the wires along the brake lines and found a good way into the cabin under the DS door pillar: there is a small body plug just below the door that gives short access to the fuse block. Drilled a small hole in the plug ran the wire through, then sealed it back up with silicone.

I think I've got more time into wiring the lights than mounting the bumper and swing-outs. Very happy with the finished product.

love your rear bumper. how much of a pain is it to get the back hatch open? I use that hatch a lot, and think it would be a struggle to have to swing the tire out every time I wanted access. BTW, your truck is pure porn. good looking rig... black and tan is a hard color combo to find these days.

X2^ on the swing out. Is it spring loaded?

In & out of the back is pretty easy to me. Swing outs are gas strut assisted-.

Sweet setup!

The light controller... does it keep the same dim mode when you turn the lights off and on again? Or must you cycle through all the dim levels each time you turn them on? I have the same 20w led lights (non flush mount) on my roof rack and I'd like to add the dimmer module.

Once you program it, it stays on the same settings and the controller remembers(no battery needed for that). You can set them in 10% increments.
