I am fixated on getting a 1987 FJ60. I can only find them in manual. Did Toyota make automatic that year? Also, if I were to get a manual would it be the worst idea ever to convert it to automatic? Need some help from you guys!

No US automatic in '87. Automatic in '88. You can convert 88-90 FJ62 round headlights if that is your issue.
Do not fixate on an '87. There is no reason to do that. Fuel injection is gold here, and an 88-90 FJ62 will in the end, be a much better truck.

That is awesome man thank you! So I have been looking in for an automatic 87. Great to know they did not make them in the states. I am going to start looking for a 90 HJ62. And thank you for the round lights suggestion, it gives it that 87 feel.
