Is that wild 4x4? I was looking at their Facebook today when working out how much caster correction I need. $650 for radius arms with bushes is a good price, their xlink kit was well priced too.

Yea Adam from wild 4x4. Yea you can't go past his arms for doing a budget lift. He just got a new Cnc machine so there will be a lot more things to come out from wild 4x4 in the near future.

Shinny ;)

Diff gears where is the best place to get some prices for diff gears from in America ?? Thinking the rear diff needs rebuilding soon and I might look at fixing it and doing some diff gears at the same time. Locktup in aus $1550 for front and back full bearing kit gaskets solid spacers and nitro gears which doesn't seem to bad. Anyone order from overseas or is a dealer in aus that can hook me up ??

With regards to the doggies... The adjustor knobs siezed years ago, but lucky for me they siezed where I like 'em. I run it fairly soft for a comfy ride over the bumps rather than frim for on-road handling, they work OK in that respect even after 8-9 years still no leaks, so all good there.
Springs are well matched to my loads - F&R barwork, winch, drawers, long range tanks and dual batteries etc. I did put spcers on the rear coils and no drama after 100,00klms so I've had my moneys worth. Would I get 'em again ? No reason not to.
The shock body itself is still good and just peppered with gravel rash so they seem strong enough.
Hoist is ready when you are Clint :)

I wish you were just around the corner would take you up on the offer. Love to get in and get some jobs done on the old girl. Working in the sun on a driveway doesn't interest me much at all anymore.

Latest purchase. VF SS seats. Just gotta make them fit lol. 390k 25 year old seats are getting abit hard to take driving long trips these days

Unfortunately seats aren't gonna go in easy. Sit way to high over factory seats (3-4" higher)

Brother inlaw and I went on a nice Sunday drive threw Yengo national park. 55km later of single line track (nothing hard) we made it from one side to the other.

Lookin good !!!
I went the XR6 seats fitted fine and only a little higher than stock, very comfy ! But hated the XR6 logo, nuttin' a set of covers doesn't fix....

Yeah I'm yet to find some immaculate ones for the right price yet Alex.

Well some good news for everyone today

Old FLX80T's Comp results come in and was quiet good 430 460 so was the Leak down tested 15 20 %. (Didn't do all the other jobs I asked them to do though lol )

Time for a decent tune by an expert I think.

Get rid of that diesel junk and LS swap it :D

Ha ha pat I'll try get this one up and boogieing first. Next build if I ever do one will be a forged built 4.5 or a worked 6l or 6.2. I've been doing a bit of searching lately ready for my bad news today lol

I'll take your Safari intercooler off ya hands!

Are you following a wiring diagram for the headlight loom or just doing it yourself? I'm sick of my candles.

Just following that lcool diagram but to tell you the truth after all the narva parts I bought them pre made looms for $300 aren't bad price was at all. Taking me ages to knock half one up lol.

Finally got the hids going again ($18 2x eBay ballasts later )

Fixed the flash flashing blinker. (Blown and full of water front indicator lamp)

And it's booked in for Saturday morning at wild 4x4 to get the front chassis cracks welded up and plated and new front panhard bush put in. Hopefully it'll fix the bump steer and wobble issue I've been getting lately fingers crossed :-/

Finally fixed my dodgy cracked up chassis plus fitted new genuine front panhard bushes. No more wobbles on the highway and my bump steer issue seems to have stopped too. Just need a wheel alignment done now.

Wheel alignment done and dusted. It now steers and drives beautiful again.

Well I finally stopped dicking around and ordered the parts to fix my sad diffs.

Front and rear rebuild kits
Solid spacers front and rear
4.56 nitro diff gears front and rear.
Spline adaptor for the nitros
And ordered a sneaky tc low range reduction gears set ($600 why not)

Should get the old girl crawling better in the shopping carparks ha ha that's about all she sees these days :).

Also bought a projecta dual battery meter
And turbosmart manual boost controller ( dates roughly set for around July to give it to the experts for a tune and see how good the Intercooler is with about 28 30 psi pushed threw it :-D

Gonna try get the part time spooled transfer case that I've got sitting here and the Aisin hubs fitted aswell before then. Yea haaa 2wd skid time ha ha ha

Wish me luck I'm gonna need it
