I want to hook up a couple accessories to power when ignition is on, and of course I want them to shutoff when ignition is off. I don't know where to source an exciter wire. It would be nice to use a piggyback fuse in the engine bay fuse block. What are your thoughts and or ideas. Of course some things I want to be able to turn on anytime.

Use a multi meter and see what fuses have power with only the key on. From there you can piggy back from the fuse panel. There may even be an empty fuse location that has exactly what you're looking for.
