Need help changing battery in Remote of LC200/2008 (1 Viewer)

Has anyone done this themselves? Or do I need the dealer to do it? Will the remote need to be re-programmed? Any advice is appreciated. The dash just gave the "low battery" warning.

Just change it yourself. Nothing to program with a working key or FOB. Battery change has no impact.

If you LOSE a fob or Key...then dealer has to program...but not just at battery replacement.

You have to remove the manual/metal key and there is a small flathead slot to pop open the fob. Drop in a new battery and you're good to go.

You can use your manual key in the slot to pry open the key
