I am sure some of you have the wearing of steering leather....any fix for it? Protection?

Thanks

If it's worn, it will need recovering. Otherwise, try a mild cleaner with a soft-bristled toothbrush, such as Zaino Leather Cleaner. You'd be surprised at how wheel leather can clean up. If you have a pic, post up.

Yeah, that needs repair. The finish has worn off of the leather.

Yup. Any good repair kit u know of?

FYI, they are died, that is why it looks like this when they get worn. You can paint the leather to freshen it up. Not the best method but if you are careful, use good paint and do a good job I think good results can be had. May only last a few years though. Another option is a steering wheel wrap, like Wheelskin.

Cheers

I agree with RMP&O. There are quite a few products to repair the worn leather, but it likely won't be perfect or last. Check out the link below for some info and products.

Another option is to send your wheel off for replacement leather for roughly $250.
