Automotive Metal gluing???

Automotive metal gluing? I'm looking for information on products that work, how to use the stuff, and where it is and isn't appropriate to use. Links to articles/etc. on it will do.

My plan is to use glue to bond sheet metal panels to a welded up DOM steel roll cage and door frames. I'm also looking at possibly using it for holding on fender flairs on the front fenders.

Popular Mechanics had an article on no weld rust repair in the July 2007 issue. They used 3m Duramix. I couldn't find the article online.

Would JB weld work for that? I used it to fill the holes in my fenders for the bottom chrome trim (snake blinders). It is very strong, and sandable and paintable.

I was involved with a hodrod ute build once, the tailgate frame was formed from SHS and the panels 'glued' with Sikaflex..
