rusty hood with picture
what do you guys think, cut out weld in , and por15 it. or just replace it?

Maybe the 40 guys will know better, but I would say replace it. a hood should be easy enough to find and just bolts up.

i found a fiberglass hood forsale, are they any good? id like to save money where i can , but this area looks like a compound curve.

I don't know how your body work skills are but if it was me I would replace it. I don't think it is wort the effort. Check the classifieds there are always someone selling a hood. I'm replacing both my fenders and windshield frame. I thought it would be easier to work on minor surface rust than doing a cut and weld job...
