What color is easiest?

I'm in the middle of a frame off. Looking to paint a Dune or Coronado Beige, but I'm not sure yet. I'll be painting it myself as it'll be a trail rig, but I want it to look as good as my skills (or lack of) will allow.
For a painting noob, is it easier to paint a dark color or light color?

Worse comes to worse, I'll take it to work and paint it Carc 383 Green.

I've always heard that Dark (well black) is a B*tch to get to to look good.

I know darker colors show scratches a lot more!

Thanks Hawk. I think I'll be ok with the beige then.

Lighter colors are more forgiving.

Reds can be a mini nightmare. Beige is a piece of cake.
