Beef up for Windshield
I have an older 4-Runner. This is a chip in the front windshield. The glass company came out and started to take the window out and said the trim had been leaking and the frame below the glass needed repair. I'm thinking of doing the (roll on paint job $50.00). What can I use to beef up the bed for the windshield?

well fisrt you need to have the windshield removed then determin how bad the pinch weld is rusted. if it has holes in it it will need to be fixed, this is how remove all rust and paint from bottom pinchweld get your self a thin piece of sheet metal about 3/4 of an inch wide as long as the pinchweld drill about 10 small holes in it and tacweld it in place over the damaged pinchweld then use some seam sealer toseal the top and bottom of the strip you just installed prime it paint it get a new windshield put in
