I'm not even sure what you're talking about, or what kind of vehicle (other than I'm assuming it's a Toyota), but most of these questions if solved, are of much more use to everyone, if you write in HOW you solved you're problem. So tired of searching for stuff and coming back with tons of hits that go nowhere.

Warm soapy water works great for locking the "key" into the weatherstripping.
