Re paint old 40

I have been reading all the great post about roll on paint. I was thinking of giving my 40 a a new paint job. I would like to srpay it on. B-4 I get started I have few questions for you.

1) Can I just sand my old paint and spray on the new. (old paint in good condition)

2) What is the ratio for paint and spirits?

3) Can I premix my paint months ahead of time?

4) How much paint do I need? (painting outside only)

I think that should do it for now.
Thanks for everyones imput.

if you read some of these threads, they'll pretty much answer your questions.

a- some paints will go over old paint, check the paint manufacturer

b - it's about 10% mineral spirits

c- not if you want it to last

d- about a gallon
